Request approval
Share the number of dogs, size, breed and age before booking. Confirm the fee, maximum pets and any restrictions in writing.
Review the home
Ask about stairs, fencing, nearby walking routes and where dogs may be left. Never assume a yard is fully enclosed.
Check current rules
Beach and park rules differ by location and can change. Verify signage and official guidance before bringing a dog onto the sand.
Heat changes the daily routine.
Walk early and later in the day, test pavement temperature, provide constant water and shade, and never leave a pet in a parked vehicle. Watch closely for overheating.
- Bring medication, vaccination information and familiar food
- Pack waste bags, leash, bowls, bedding and a crate if used at home
- Use veterinarian-approved parasite prevention
- Keep dogs leashed where required and respect wildlife
- Pick up immediately and protect indoor furnishings
Up to two approved dogs may join the stay.
Advance approval and the $300 pet fee are required. Aggressive breeds and animals with a history of aggression are prohibited.
